Three production phases working together: build anticipation with a pre-event piece, capture the day with documentary coverage, and extend the life of the event through post-production deliverables.

PRE-EVENT · MARKETING

Pre-Event Video

A 1–2 minute opening piece designed to play in the conference space as the event begins — the film that primes the room and kicks off the day, built from interviews with 5 key video participants. $20K if PILLARBOXED shoots and edits everything (when participants can come to Aegis NYC HQ); $25K if local contractors film participants in their own cities — the $5K premium covers remote supervision and coordination overhead. Could secondarily be repurposed as pre-event marketing.

Event Coverage Options

Coverage is the documentary capture of the day itself — what happens during the event. Each option layers post-production deliverables on top of that capture, extending how far the event travels after October 6. 02A and 02B are alternate single-add-ons (panels OR recap); 03 bundles them both; 05 is the full everything package with social highlights added on top. White Paper Cinematic Explainer

A 3–5 minute cinematic short to anchor the rollout of Aegis's white paper. Designed to elevate the launch beyond a PDF — a film that makes the thesis legible and emotionally compelling, with a hero interview, supporting Zoom voices, and an animated layer for the ideas that need visualization.

Social Cutdowns

3–5 vertical cutdowns from any captured footage. Largely post-production. Strong candidate for ongoing add-on retainer if Aegis wants continuous social output across all film deliverables.

TRACK 03

Hero Brand Videos

These are profile pieces of each Aegis portfolio company, told through Aegis's lens. The format is conversation-driven — an Aegis principal discussing the brand and founder, supported by b-roll of the product or operation. The goal is to position Aegis as the protagonist of the relationship: a partner who invests in storytelling alongside capital, communicates its thesis through the brands it backs, and creates high-quality content founders are proud to share.

Use cases: LP communications and updates, Aegis marketing channels, founder co-marketing, thesis and category positioning, partnership and co-investment outreach.

03 · A LA CARTE

Per-Brand Profile

1–2 minute short-form profile of each portfolio company. Founder-focused interviews + b-roll, filmed at Aegis NYC HQ in 1–2 batched trips. Includes 3 vertical social cutdowns per brand.

The Retainer Replaces the A La Carte Approach

At $20K/month, the retainer produces 2 long-form films every month — for the cost of one a la carte short-form video. Per-video cost drops from $15–20K to $10K, and the runtime grows from 1–2 minutes to 10–20 minutes. Volume compounds: 24 films across 12 months versus 6 from one a la carte round.
